I have too many shots of Scotland not to show you so here is another view of the Ben Nevis Range near Steal Falls.

Hello Scotland.
Memmory lane for me this fantastic photo!..I remember being YEARS ago in FortWilliam we( some friends and I) went up the BenNevish .. after climbing 2/3 unexpected rain came with such a force that in 2 mins I was soaken wet.. I almost flushed into LochNess ^_^
Still remember Ullapool higher up , as one of the Scottish best..well..one of the best.. Thanks for showing

Somehow it seems that the lighting in Scotland is always picture perfect. I've seen many photos of Scotlands and I am always in envy of the colors and light. This is another great example of the stunning effect of lighting. It has highlighted some of the beautiful areas in the mountians. I love the composition. Now I am sure I want to visit Scotland.
TFS,
Niek

Wow! That is simply lovely -- soft shades and soft edges. I love how the tops of the trees seem to echo the shape of the hills behind. Truly grand

Great shot as usual Steve/Suzanne, beautiful, and expertly composed.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

He He! One of my first posts on TL was almost from the same spot! So, I have nothing wrong to say about your composition! The light is a bit funky in the sky, maybe the use of a polarizer. Anyhow, thanks for bringing back some good memories! And yes: I hiked to the top... for the 2nd time in my life!

Hi S&S,
Beuatiful landscape. Unfortunately, it is a wee bit too dark IMO. Other than that I like it.

This brings back lovely memory of our last visit to Scotland and I remember this view of Ben Nevis quite well. Actually, I recognized it in the thumbnail before seeing your description. I have to agree that it seems a bit dark but otherwise it is a such a typical view of Scotland that one cannot resist it. Well done!

Hello there!

Amazing sometime how some remote places can be visited by fellow members. This is a fine example. Pierre, Suzanne ( from Canada ! ) and you taking the same picture (^_^).

A nice mood captured here, looks like rain was approaching fast with this dark sky. The photo is very sharp.
Bravo!
Robert
