Hi
This is a roof of a building within Inverness, Scotland.
Architecture is something that I've become increasing aware of throughout adulthood. I've got a massive respect and appreciation of the fine buildings our forefathers have left behind for us to enjoy.
I like this shot because of the many different shapes and textures. It makes me think about the skills and craftmanship involved in building it.
POV is from street level perhaps 100 feet away using zoom and in auto mode. Pity about the uneventful sky.
Hope you like it.

Hello Sandy
This is a lovely capture and from a great POV. I shouldnt worry about the sky its fine as it is... too much going on would distract the eye from the wonderful building.
TFS regards Helen

Hello Sandy, I love the architecture of chimneys.I posted a photo of them on TrekEarth but no-one seemed very interested! These are fab! You have some nice detail of the bricks, and patterns on the turrets. I would have cropped it closer so that only the chimneys and turrets showed against the skyline but that's just MPO.
Well done!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)
hi sandy, nice point of view here, this building looks amazing, i also love the old ones and appreciate the work and skill it took these people all that time ago, thanks for your comments on work, cheers, thanks scott
