My last from my trip up North, the colours and diversity of the rocks in Scotland is amazing, they are amongst the oldest in the World. On a dull overcast day the intensity of the red sandstone is incredible.
To get this shot my boots were nearly swamped.
To get the depth of field at f11 I focus about a third of the way into the scene. |

I can simply start with Wow! extremely distinctive presentation, the low POV, the sharp colors and textures on the stones straight up to the top of the moutain covered by that thick dark cloud! very dramatic, fabulous composition with excellent details and frame.. superb work..
compliments Douglas and greetings

Sandstone is just marvelous to photograph isn't it? With all the colors, the textures! HDR makes it even nicer! this is grand, with the cloud hanging low! Just amazing! Someday I will get there and teach you boys a lesson! LOL!
