:-) when I saw this thumbnail I thought: yesss!
I just love these colors. Nik Software is absolutely my favorite! The filters are great.

Now when I look at this bridge I'd say the image is slightly tilted, but when I look at the person standing on the bridge I'd say it's level. I don't know if it is level or tilted, but whatever it is I think it's a lovely scene and the B/W does so well.
Great details, specially in the foreground.

Cheers,
Anneke

Nice perspective...

Hi Brian,

Although this is a great shot I think the pov is too centralised I would have preferred a position from right into the left side giving a more angled view. The details are very sharp and the dof good a nice touch changing to black and white. All that I have said is my own opinion and is meant to be constructive.

Jon

Hello, Brian -
Fine POV to get the full effect of this old bridge - the details of the worn wooden planks are very well shown with great sharpness and exposure. Good choice of b&w to create a timeless feel. Very nice image.

Hi Brian,
An interesting treatment to this capture with a fabulous POV!
Nice texture in the wooden bridge which leads gloriously into the perspective.
A fantastic DOF with the person adequately positioned to increase impact to the composition.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Bom dia Bryan

What a GREAT shot of Douglas! I like how you did this! So will he have similar shot of you? Love the sepia treatment here, I feel a slight tilt, is one leg short than the other? B-)
Nice textures on the wood here, beautiful!

Great shot! Outstanding use of composition, lead-in, and black-and-white treatment on the pic. Did you add vignetting in any way to the upper corners? I love the way the shot seems to blend into a darkness with the brightest area in the upper middle.
Nice to see one of our fellow photogs making a cameo, too.
