[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is an early morning rainbow shining over a sea loch in the Scottish Highlands

Its part of a fair few i took on this fine morning

The sun was rising to the back of me with clouds all around but with enough breaks to get the light needed to illuminate this bow and the clouds to its left

The secondary bow is not as apparent in this picture as it is in a lot of the others.
The key feature in my opinion is the amount of light recast by the rainbow to its left. This truly is a curtain of light.

Post production was done mainly in lightroom
i adjusted the clarity up by 15% but reduced the saturation down by 10% as its was just too much
I have cranked the noise reduction up as the clouds are really noisy due to real lack of light. but this has not done any favours to the cloud definition
I added a frame in photoshop.

Very nice capture here. I don't see any noise now. The clouds look great. Just an all around great photo.

Great capture John, perfect color work.
There's a small colored dot near the first bow, maybe you should clone-stamp it.

Nice image,a good double rainbow,Have a go at asking santa if he could treat you to a dslr and you won't have any problem with noise.
