| i know this is not a very good shot but the bird was only there for a split second so this is as good as i could get i wanted to include this pic as i have never seen another of these birds so it might be rare this photo was taken in lossiemouth woods near a sewer works. |

Sadly not a rare bird Craig but a nice shot nonetheless. It is a picture of a 'jay', a member of the crow family, I think.

Nice picture!
It's sharp-And I've never seen a bird like that before....All I suggest would be to do a little bit of editing with contrast, just to make the picture a little more exciting! Good DOF, and it's great that you caught a picture before the bird before it flew away.
