Hello, Brian.

You are an expert when it comes to sepia photographs with a lovely vintage feel: I think you were born a century too late - you would have done well in the days of Fox-Talbot and Daguerre!

This is a lovely picture, very much in keeping with your pictures of horses, farriers and so on - tools of the trade. It's nice and sharp but, above all, it is the superb control of the lighting that makes this picture.

Excellent!

Best Wishes,

John.

P.S. Funnily enough, I'd found the head of a 28 lb. hammer in my garage some time ago and spent several hours last week whittling down a new shaft to fit it - I'd love to get my hands on that hammer-head and restore it too!

Brian/Trampas, Good Morning my Friends.
Very, very well done. Your sepia theme is developing nicely. Your attention to and presentation of detail is amazing. Congratulations, this composition, like the others is very well done.

ciao
Magda

Love your work here Brian! Very simplistic, but the quality is what draws me in! I love rusty, dusty old things! Excellent details, love the vignetting you did here, with the sepia treatment!

Hello Brian
Oh I like this very much... the POV makes your bolts look huge.. Really nice DOF.. I wonder what It would look like if you just desaturated it to keep a little color.. Anyway really a wonderful post
