| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Taken while my fiancee was walking in the water at Loch Lubnaig. This was my first experiment with a silouhette, and it turned out more or less as I intended. Had the sun been higher, however, I could have made her more prominent. But I think it works as it is.
Crop, decreased brightness by about 20% and unsharp mask. |

This is a great silhouette, the sun is a little bright but not too bright. The light sparkles off the water nicely.
nice photo...especially the way you compose it... vertically and very expressive. btw, do u sharpen it too much? hope to see more photos from u..
For a first experience it's very good... If u don't mention it. probably nobody know its your first experience. The sun is special... Some kind of artistic effect! Good composition of light...
Basically I think you have done a good job, but there is unrealized potential in your shot. Maybe some work with levels in PS could bring out both your fiancee, the sky, the blazing sun - without leaving the sky a dull gray (probably caused by the decrease in brightness). The horizon is also a bit tilted. I'm looking forward to a re-post.
