[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We stopped in a small cafe in Pitlochry so that my wife could have a ginger beer and peppermint tea. We sat at our own little table beside the window and I took pictures of her. I still haven't decided what I want to do with those. They mostly involve her looking quizzically over her cup. But I also decided to try to capture our table.

I used Lightzone to convert to black and white user colour balance and hsl layers. Then I cropped in more tightly. Using Krita I adjusted the LAB curves to boost contrast and give this slight duotone. Then I used the Gimp to matte and resample.

A very well seen photograph while you where you where relaxing, I assume it was natural light used to laminate the subjects which has also added to the shots pleasant feel, using a diagonal composition has also been used to good effect.
The down side of having this reduced lighting level and composition has put the plane of focus a bit too far into the shot.
That said for seeing, composing and taking this photograph you have produced a very creditable result. Well Done.
