Chair on a Hill
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the latest addition to my ever-growing collection of park-bench pictures. One day I will collect them all together and start posting them.
This was taken at the top of a spur of the hill upon which Stirling Castle sits. The park bench faces North West toward the Mountains of the highlands. I was about 10m down the slope looking up. I framed the shot as tightly as I could while keeping the tree in, along with sufficient grass; for my taste.
Usual kind of pp work. Some kind of grayscale conversion (I forget which) some curve work for the contrast and atmosphere and then a duotone layer. |

Hello David
A lovely composition, simple yet effective.I think the B&W treatment aids in the atmosphere and sense of desolation from the shot.Very good capture of the grey clouds as well.Nicely done.TFS
