This tree was just clinging to the bank at the side of the lake of Menteith Scotlands only lake. I just liked the detail in the root's.

Hello, Douglas.

This is a super shot. I've taken a few pictures in this sort of situation and they have always turned out very disappointingly. But you have managed to get some wonderful contrasts between those great roots, the earth, the grass, the sky and the leaves. Super lighting too.

You keep WOWing me! This is great! We have these big tall pines in Texas and the root system can be quite knarley! Very nice shot, love the low profile looking up! Shooting upwards into the light is often quite challenging! You did a great job!
