What the gateway to heaven could look like...
The lighting was extraordinary that day. The scattered clouds caused a gorgeous effect (hope I captured it well...). It filtered the light (a bit pink due to the humidity, I think) and patched the green meadows below. Thanks for looking
Joris
PS: there's a nice walk on mountain rims of Glen Coe which leads to the Devil's Staircase. Contradictory, not? |

Hi Joris,
Yet another lovely depiction of Glen Coe. Good composition and a mysterious mood.
Well done,
Jim
Life is a treacherous road where one mistake could transform heaven into hell. Interesting note and wonderful atmospheric shot with great light and shade. (I love Scotland and have posted some in a theme "Scottish Highlands")TFS
warm regards
David
Hello Joris,
I think the lighting on this is superb.
You have caught it at just the right moment.
Colouring and the clouds just make this about perfect.
Good Work.
Regards.
