[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw the remains of this tree against the background of the clouds in the sky and tried to create something ethereal with it. I lay on the ground to take the tree so as to avoid interference from some farmyard buildings farther back. I adjusted the brightness and contrast of the sky and added the image of the full moon to enhance the effect. I also used the clone tool in PS to remove a lot of weeds and other rubbish around the tree trunk.

Weeds are just flowers in the wrong location :-) or so I'm told.

This really suits black and white, some may not like the central position of the tree trunk, but it works for me.

Nice one.

Peter

Some nice PP work to create a good picture. The composition is pleasing, with the tree stump pointing up at the moon to tie the two together, and the POV to isolate the tree against the sky has paid dividends.
Thanks for sharing
Mark
