[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This pair sat on my garden fence sunning themselves for some considerable time. I took several shots through the window of my kitchen door before they spotted me and flew off. I downloaded this image into PS and selected the background. I then reduced the brightness and contrast, added a little gaussian blur and finally a little USM on the birds themselves.

Splendid Gordon !

Very beautiful image, well done.
A splendid catch.
Although the crisis is global, ... birds do not seem affected by this aspect of life.
Have a nice weekend,
Adrian

They look well fed, must have been visiting my garden :-)

Cracking image love the pp work throwing the background out of focus etc

Composition and exposure are spot on too.

Nice one.

Peter

Bonjour Gordon,
Joli portrait, ces nuances apportent un côté esthétique et nostalgique très agréable. Le DOF est comme il faut pour ce duo.
Bonne journée

hello Gordon,
techniclly very well done and the blur works a treat. Aren't they sweet? They have a lovley coo coo calling song too now that spring is here and love is in the air. I have spotted them near me but they don't come close enough to photograph.
regards,
Bev
