[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a day trip to Coldingham which is in Berwickshire in the Scottish Borders. Took this snap of a friend photographing surfers.

It was a beautiful day with great light especially for February.

Converted the image to sepia and quite like the effect.

The sepia effect is captivating! The composition is fine, the reflection of the photographer adds drama to the whole picture. TFS

Hello Peter, I like the dramatic sky, the texture of the foreground and the reflection of your fellow photographer. The PP has really worked well and the frame has also enhanced the image. Great work.
Regards, Roger.

Hi Peter,

This is classic! I love the tones and the composition. I would however prefer a bit more sand and less sky so that the horizon does not divide the frame dead center. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Peter,

Lovely minimalistic shot, very sharp, great exposure and the sepia color is very good. The mirror reflection of the photographer is great and the shiny beach also very nice!

Good shot Peter, and very nicely done in sepia. I am however very curious about the colors. If the light was that great, it should also be a nice pic in FC.

Love the way you captured the reflections on the wet beach. Nice one!

Cheers,
Anneke

Hi Peter.

this is a simple but very effective picture.

I enjoy the simplicty of the shadows, the simplicty of the colors, the simplicty of the lines and shapes. The whole makes a perfect combination!

Congratulations.

Hi Peter,
It looks great! The conversion to b&w and the hint of sepia really makes the difference here, thanks to the mood created and the way you've delivered it. Compo is perfect, with your friend well placed off center and leaving room to the eye to fly towards the horizon; there's a beautiful feeling of space, solitude and silence which I like it a lot. The reflections on the sand with its texture added an extra special point to your fine presentation, really well done!
Have a great weekend (and see you soon with another landscape :oP )
