A couple of firsts here. Brenda (my wife) finally out and about. And a new (old) camera. Have gone back to film, not for ever, just to try the old skills. Got a Bronica medium format camera. This is a slide taken on 50 asa fuji velvia film. Scanned into the computer.

Its really calming to do everything manually. And scary, so much to remember, take a meter reading, set the aperture, set the shutter speed and finally focus.

Certainly different from my auto everything nikon. Quite pleased with the result though. Hope you like the shot.

:))) the manual way, hehe. Yes, you're right, so many things to think about. But on the other hand coming back to the skills ;-)
Nice capture, brillant colours (the good old Velvia....). Wouldn't say it's too dark, runs well with the late afternon lights and the season. Uncredibly the green leafs at the end of november, season of heavy storms in former times.... Great work Peter, welcome back to the growing community still - org coming back - using film.

taking pics on film is shooting; taking digital is banging ;-)

Peter excelente y original momento, bellos tonos y agradable habitat... saludos

Good work, and just one more example that technology is'nt primary thing (just a tool). Automatic or manual, digital or analog at the end it's absolutly irelevant and result is what is important.
And here result is good. Good light, fine well saturated colours, good composition. Nice late automn photo.
Regards Darko

Excellent Peter and I am so glad to here that Brenda is on the mend. A well composed image with beautiful colour and light. Well done and TFS,
David

It's very nice to see Brenda outside walking after such a long illness. You must be very pleased. The quality of the image is very good and so are the colours and composition.

Wonderful shot Peter, you did well with your new camera, which tells me that your knowledge of photography is not skin deep. Great colors, well balanced lighting and nicely composed.
TFS,
Vassilis
