[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken at the Floors Castle Horse Trials, which is a yearly event, and up until yesterday had never tried shooting a sports event. The weather was tremendous and the company great, the event was designed for three or four different ability of horse and rider and was well attended. This shot is called the bunny hop and was only used for the more experienced horse and riders. The event covers a large area at the back of the Floors Castle, seat of the Duke and Duchess of Roxburgh, and in front of the river Tweed. I did very little to this shot cropped slightly on left re-sized and sharpened. I hope that you like it and feel free to leave any critique and or comments.

nice one Jon you picked the best day i was there on saturday weather wasn,t that good like you pov on this looks like your learning i would have possibly croped it a little more to take some of the grass out tfs bryan

Hi Jon,

This is a nice capture, as Bryan suggested croping to take a bit more of the grass out but lovely action shot, in focus and clours are magic.
Hopefully our horse will be doing that in a few years, he's just coming up to 2yrs and is about 15hh expected to make 16-2+.....I'll not be in the saddle tho.

What a beautiful shot. Perfect timing, beautiful clear color, wonderfully composed. That white horse is fabulous and I love the lone cloud in that nice blue sky. This is just an outstanding shot! Many thanks and warm regards,
