Nice picture - a little flare on the left - maybe you could have rotated the camera a litle to the right to eliminate it and still get the people in the view.
Welcome to TL Alastair! The sea sure looks fierce! It'a a well captured moment, but the photo could be improved ;-) Too much light on the left side of the photo... I don't know if it was your intention to frame the photo minus one side, but it might look better with a complete frame. Good work anyway.

Welcone to TL alastair, Very nice capture of the wild waves here...the moment is captured just right..for the composition of the picture I would have cropped different though to give more attention to the wave,also the horizon is somewhat tilted...made a ws to show you what I mean
