Hi Bryan, I have came back to this image a couple of times as I did not know what to write, in all honesty I thought you could have done far better but it has dawned on me that as a photograph it follows all the right rules, rule of thirds, leading lines DoF etc. all great, what it lacks is a main image to focus on and that is what you have shown - no main image, so go on then, show us what these people were waiting for in anticipation....TFS

Hi Bryan

Good use of diminishing linear perspective & vanishing point. The boy in the red at left, breaking the barrier, caught my eye here. I would burn in the oe bg. Tfs!

Hi Bryan !
Interesting presentation of the images.
Nice presentation and playback, congratulations.
Have a nice week,
Adrian

Woah! hahaha! This has brightened my day, Bryan - thanks indeed for posting this! For me, the technicals don't really matter here - photography is about catching moments, preserving them and also about awakening old memories and emotions. For me, you've done that in shedloads with this shot.

For many years as a nipper I took part in the Beltane Parade. Dressed as a toy soldier, a bumble bee, a Chinaman and goodness knows what else. Homesick? Yah, maybe a bit :-)

You've caught a good moment here, the wide empty streets with the crowds waiting for the parade and the wee kid on the left peering out to see what's coming. Like this a lot, Bryan - many thanks indeed for posting this!

Hi Bryan,
Nice interesting photo and with a different view. Linear effect with no central disturbance drawing the eye to the clock tower.Sky needed a bit of diffusion otherwise great photo and TFS.
