[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken when out for a walk the other day it grows in a neighbours garden and I think it is lovely am not sure of the proper name though. I thought was and is a very unusual looking plant I hope that you like it. Have to run taking the bike for it's MOT.

Shot in raw added border adjusted shadows re-sized and sharpened prior to being uploaded to TL using PSPX1.

All c and c's welcome.

Hi Jon,
Again good focus colour and DoF - did you get through your MoT? TFS
Bri

Nice bright colours and the dof creates a out of focus background. Unforyunately the bottomsection of the flower lacks the focus required for this type of photo.

warm regards

Hi Jon,
Very eye-catching shot, what a great looking fiery flower! I quite like the bottom part out of focus, as it keeps the attention on the bright red tones on top. Excellent bokeh effect background to reinforce the details. Nice work.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Jon,normally I would have tried to have the whole flower tack sharp, esp' of a close up like this, but that's only my viewpoint & I'm sure you will get many that will contradict it.If it was your intention to have this posted effect, to get a more artitic softer image, then you certainly have achieved that by using the focus point artistically I just don't think it has the same vibrance of a tack sharp one IMHO.
