Old Drove Road
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took a walk the other day along the briglands at the end of which you can either go to the A7 main road or go up the bats either to Shawmount or onto the drove road and Broomhill then back home. I chose the latter for the views that it provides and the fact that I had never gone this way before. This is a shot of the old drove road I was walking on and as can be seen the sky was very cloudy I hope that you like it as I think the walk is great.
shot in raw re0sized and sharpened in pspx1 before uploading to tl.

dear Jon,
a wonderful perspective shot of lovely path in the field.
this feeling of depth is excellent and my favorite.
cloudy sky with partial blue and pale green field being half in shadow are well balanced.
(cloud, center lighted portion and fore shadow portion are 1:1:1)
anyway, this comfortable air is surely nice to watch and walk,
thank you,
Akihisa
Hi Jon,
Great POV, I might have preferred a slightly shorter sky, but the other elements in this photo well and truly make up for it. Nice natural colours, looks alot like New Zealand. The vertical crop was a good choice, can imagine what this would look like in HDR. Well taken.
TFS,
Scott.
good effort Jon like you i have never tried this way have to put it on to do list you have good details i have to agree with scott on this one less sky would make it a lot more pamoramic but thats just my preferance and you took the shot
tfs regards bryan

Hi Jon,
Nice leading lines in this image, the sky gives great perspective and creates the image of lots of space. The colours are great. TFS
