A Snowy Road in the Scottish Borders
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A bit of a contrast from pictures recently posted from Crete where it was hot and sunny: this one is from just south of Traquair on the way to St. Mary's Loch, taken early last December.
Incidentally, I travelled carefully over 200 miles that day on snowy roads, snapping away merrily, only to have some irresponsible ne'er-do-well in a van reverse into my parked car outside my house later and drive off without so much as an apology or any recompense. Obviously not a conscientious Treklenser nor, indeed, a true member of the human race. Luckily, it wasn't the Austin!
Incidentally, the maps of GoogleEarth appear to have improved greatly recently - you can see quite a lot here if you click on Map [view].
Shot in RAW and converted and edited in PSE6.
