Nice silhouette of trees u've captured here.
Beautiful colors and excellent reflection in the water.

I'd have preferred to avoid the bunched/bushes on the bottom right of frame. more of the sky may be a good idea??? :)

Well I can't see anything wrong with this one Derek - sharp and great capture of the reflection. The f14 gives a deep DOF..

A spectaculr sunrise shot from behind this skyline of trees!
Great silhouettes with a glorious reflection in the water.
A very warm atmosphere with a bonus star-shaped sun!
Fabulous lighting on the weeds at the FG.

Hello, Derek -
I know that vague feeling of being slightly uncomfortable with one of my images, but not being able to put my finger on why. Personally, I think this is a great image - the colors are warm, the reflection is incredibly sharp as is the surface of the water, and the composition is great - "rule of thirds" apparent, with the bank and tree line leading the eye through the frame. Great work.

This is an amazing silhouette !!! really love the golden tones blending in with the dark tones and the subtle haze in the fore ground just adds the right amount of drama and makes is so eye catching ... lovely exposure control - great focus and nice sharp shot.

I think that you are far to harsh a critic this is a very beautiful shot with no problem I can see the sun is great radiating it's light out to the world captured behind the trees and the refection in the water, superb well done.
