another shot from Bemersyde this gentleman was looking for the king of fish the Salmon on the river Tweed he had been there for over 4 hours without any joy he was determined to stay till he caught something so hope he was lucky i ask him if it was ok to take a shot he was most apoligetic that he did not have a catch to show
shot in raw resized tried to take some of the glare from the water out by using a yellow filter at 20% ty for looking

Hi Bryan,

I think you could have given him some tips, the reel looks remarkably like a spinner not the norm for fishing for salmon. The pov is very good sharp details there is still a little glare from the water but that's ok and the colours are good well done.

I have to try that trick of removing glare via yellow filter. A well composed and calming scene. Fine diagonal and colors. Best regards...

Nice Bryan. I don't know what time of day you took this, but the yellow filter makes it look like maybe late day, with the sun very low in the sky. I like it!
Nice composition too, with the band of the river cutting across the shot on the diagonal.

Hi bryan

I like the reversed 's' shape of the diagonal bank, which adds dynamism. The solitary fisherman at left, provides a superb focal point. Good colour & sharpness. Have a good weekend!
