[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This was taken en-route to the two bridges at the river Tweed the path allows the anglers and other people an access to the calmer waters. Parts of the path are well looked after but some are sadly not and could end up being dangerous.

I added a border re-sized then sharpened before uploading to tl.

All c and c's are welcome.

Hi there!
A very interesting shot - feels like something out of a fantasy movie... I think the focus os a bit soft(not enough crispness) but maybe that's what you went for. Excellent composition though.
Lovely pic - TFS!

Hello,

Hi Jon,
Great PoV but I have to agree with Bryan on the focus. Setting the scene for autumn. TFS

Bonjour Jon
Nice place and good pov.I don't think it is out of focus but that you should have needed a tripod.Had you a stab on your camera or lens?Without it is difficult to have a perfect shot at 1/15sec except having an iron arm.
Best regards
Henri

I have often found woodland scenes difficult in terms of focus and there is a lack of sharpness in this shot. I would suggest that it is your shutter speed of 1/15 second that is the cause. If you want to use f8 I would suggest changing your film speed so that you can use a shorter exposure time. Film speed of 800 ASA for example would allow you to use a shutter speed of 1/8 second and render fairly sharp result. If using automatic on the camera it doesnt hurt to check the settings the camera has chosen. A tripod would probably have made a difference shooting at this low speed. I like the choice of subject and the pov leads the eye nicely down the path.

dear Jon,
this atmosphere in wood is excellent,
it is so quiet and calm, and colors are autumnal,
the air is very cool, and makes me feel a little melancholic sensation.
thank you,
Akihisa
