[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Shot on the Tweed at mertoun Mill near St Boswells in the scottish Borders. There was a really nice low sun the day this was shot, I just liked the colours.
Unfortunately I cant seem to get the photo to upload with the same vibrant colours that are on the original, each time I save for web it loses he tones.

Andy this is excellent of the mill at Mertoun brig seldom seen the tweed as calm here the details are good and the reflections stand out well grt scenic shot tfs

This is a good capture of a beautiful scene with in my opinion just the perfect saturation level to keep things realistic in check. The contrast and shapness is awesome and my only gripe is the uploaded picture is rather on the small side and a larger upload would have revealed greater details and depth. Great photo nonetheless and a pleasure to comment/critique on. Well done!

Hello Andy,

Maybe it is your monitor, the colours seem vibrant to me!
A lovely mixture of light and shadow, reality and reflection.
The composition is good with the emphasis on the reflection rather than the eality.

The photo is only 600x400 pixels when it could be 800x600 which would make the details clearer.

Been there a few times but never made this shot. Looks great to me good autumnal colours and terrific reflection.

Hi Andy,

I was at Mertoun bridge not long ago but at the opposite side of the water I love the autumnal colours you have captured. The reflection is fantastic a really brilliant shot well done.
