No need to mention the color contrast is magnificent. Composition is simple and works nicely to this shot.
Although I do not like the black frames, I think this one is showing well here.

Hi Derek,

This is a very good shot of a sunflower all the ones I grew are are dead and gone but this is holding it's own. The colour of the background is a great contrast to the rich yellow of the plant. As usual beautifully shot with very sharp details well done.
