[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I posted this shot on TrekEartch originally, but thought it belonged here too...

The reason this boat caught my eye in the first place was the registration number. PZ is Penzance, situated in the very southwest of the UK. This boat is now working in Shetland, as far away from this as it is possible to get in the northern isles of the UK. And it's only a small craft, so has come a long way!

As for the composition - a fairly calm, very bright day resulted in these reflections. I used a polarizer to remove the glare from the water.

In post processing the boat (not the refelction) was sharpenned, the reflection contrast was improved with Curves and the shot was cropped tight.

I hope you like and thanks for looking :-)

Hi Craig! Long journey of the small boat. I like the mirror with waving water...very natural. The value come from sharp, very nice colors and of course the history of the boat!

TFS,
TeeJe.
