[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I don't get much chance to take photos these days; ironic considering the setting that I live in. In the middle of last month, I had a few days on my own and on two or three evenings I took a walk up the hill behind our house and kept walking till I reached the highest point in the area. From here I could see for miles; down into Harris and Uig and out to the Atlantic Ocean, as far as the Flannan Isles. I took several panoramic images, stitching the shots later with Hugin.

This picture is a combination of 7 or 8 images. I don't have the technical details because I just did a complete reinstall of my system and the original raw files along with my metadata catalog is yet be copied back to the hard disk. I can tell you that this is a view from behind Breasclete (the radio mast sits above the edge of the village) looking to where East Loch Roag opens onto the north Atlantic. The land to the left of the image is the tip of Great Bernera, with Little Bernera and other rocks to the North and East.
