[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
my wife and i are just back from visiting friends for the afternoon.
they own a few horses(surprise, surprise) and used to own a riding school.
i went for a walk through the stable and found a door with these name plaques. my friend told me that these were stable plaques for some of the horses that are no longer alive.
their names are Stella, Annie, Melody and Dancer.
gone but not forgotten.

pp as before.

note to Tyro;
my camera does not have a button for colour. can i buy one in the shops? :)

Another very interesting piece of work, Brian. The art of seeing something most of us would pass over and turning it into such an attractive image is enviable indeed. You have a unique and impressive gallery.

Brian/Trampas Hi:
Wonderful work with an excellent note. Excellent old stable door that you have presented in YOUR style. Congraulations, my friends, very well done.

I just love your processing as I've said before! Really deep and love the tones here. I read the story you sent to Silke and man I know that pain. We had an Arabian that "fell in love" with a male horse up on the road, she gave us the slip on night and was hit on the road by a drunk driver, of ALL things. Texas law says the horse owner is responsible for his livestock..but the guy ran, abandoned his vehicle, which was totalled. He was drunk, he didn't press charges! We were woken up by my brother-in-law dragging the horse through our pasture! Oh man, what a horrible memory! LOVE the idea they have here, to remember the good times!

I saw this yesterday and wanted to comment on it before I forget. I LOVE this! And I love the idea (which I have told my sister about by the way :) I like the sepia tones and the lighting. Very nice! TFS and have a happy day!

Hi Brian,
I really like the choice for black and white here as the tones really compliment it. Great composition, well done!

I like this Brian, the horses are still remembered. I first thought the thumbnail showed a gravestone, but this is even better.
Very moody image, and well captured,
Janice
