[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
New Apartments can be seen along the old Graving Docks. The Mount Stuart Dock and Engineering Company took over the running of these dry docks in 1882. The name 'Graving Docks' comes from the use of Graving to seal the hulls of the ships. In the background you can see Techniquest, it was the UK's first purpose built Science Discovery centre it's housed in the steel framework of a former dockside heavy engineering workshop.
