The poppies were just beginning to burst out of their skins. I tried to blur the background and got in close for this macro shot. Scanned negative. Cropped slightly and added border in photoshop.

I love this one of yours it's very tactile and yummy.

Poppies are one of my favourite flowers,so I had to look at this one.You have captured the textures really well,the petals look like paper don't they? You have made a good composition. Regards Jean
