Glad you ran into this photo and shared it with us. This is surely a wonderful photo with a great DOF and superb details. Lighting on the eyes is perfectly. I can even see a colored reflection of you in the eyes.

I see you have quite a collection over here on TL. (I'm not a frequent visitor myself!)

As you say, it's the eyes which stand out here, covered in coaldust, a typical valleys owl! Well, maybe not.
