[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello all,
another shot from my Lumix today. This was taken in February on Barmouth beach in North Wales. I know it breaks the rule of thirds in quite a big way, but I like the effect obtained by putting the camera on the sand and taking the shot from a very low PoV.
I like to put shots like this on occasionally because I like it, but technically it may be that it's a pretty dreadful photo and I'm always interested in what others think.

Quite a lot of PP on this:
Contrast increased (+25)
Hue increased (+15)
Saturation increased (+10)
Resized for upload

Good morning John

This is absolutely stunning, the DOF os spot on. what an angle for the shot!. the details are excellent and the the colour of the sky and the shine in the sand is just amazing. Top shot its gone straight into my favs

Hi John - I had a look at your gallery just now and this one popped right out at me. I think it's an ideal image for highlighting Depth of Field in practice. Initially I thought that it would be an idea to crop a little off the front of this shot - but I've changed my mind as I think the sparkly reflections and glints from the sand add a certain something to the shot.

Nice one!
