| I'm in two minds about this - on the one hand I like the effect, but on the other hand I think it might just be an out of focus, poor quality picture. Taken on Barmouth beach in North Wales. I have no idea who the people are, they were walking their dog with the sun on the sea in the background and I thought it would make a nice shot. I'd be interested to know what you all think. |

Hello John,
To me, it works. It's an impression of seaside. It's suggestive. And in spite of the blur, you achieve a good depth of field.
I once tried this too with my analogue camera but the development lab did'nt even develop my photo because they thought it was a mistake ;-).
I'im just less happy with the dark coloured spot in the sky, +/- above the first person, but that's a detail.
TFS & a late welcome on TL,
Erik
I like it!
I think it works well, very atmospheric almost ghostly.
Cheers
Tom

It gives a great impression of movement and I like the "kids ballpond" textures in the front. Did you deliberately take it out of focus? Whatever, it certainly works for me. Cheers, Rewind

Maybe just atouch out of focus for my own personal liking, but I do like it.
