| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is a photograph taken from the summit of Mount Snowdon.
Snowdon is the highest mountain in England and Wales 1085m or 3560 ft also known by its local Welsh Language name Yr Wyddfa (The Tomb). Each year hundreds of thousands of visitors visit the mountain to enjoy its unique presence and share the exhilaration of scaling its slopes by one of the Snowdon Paths. The mountain is not only tall, it has its own unique bio-diversity of plants and animals and much effort is made to maintain the fragile mountain ecology. Snowdon is a proud national symbol for the Welsh people, something they are rightly proud and offering an icon of stability in our rapidly changing political and technological world. |

great pov and note. wonderfull atmosphere that lies under so many of the literature of honor and chivalry. I believe that places like these are at the core of genius like Walter Scott and later authors.
Beautiful capture Mark, great colours and wonderful cloud detail.
Regards Mark :)

Hi Mark, I have heard of Mt Snowden, and I have heard that is a very popular place to climb and tramp. It is good to see it like this, and the rain clouds give it a very moody look. Another well-composed image, good sharp details - well done
