A little bit blury but i am aware that it wasn't an easy shot, very well done, the light is great. I like very much the eyes

Great photograph, nice view,may be you should have a wider view and you should have placed the bird towards the left , which will give a feel that it is flying at great speed.

Excellent, sharp capture, Lesley. As has been mentioned, some more space on the right would create a sense of "freedom" and would IMO really improve the compo. Still, all the details you captured on this red kite are lovely to look at.

I think your D70's sensor needs cleaning, there appears to be a dust bunny in the top right 1/3rd section.
