This looks like a real forrest as opposed to those we call a forest but in fact are lines/rows of trees planted some years ago.
Love that moss on the boulders (left by some glacier in the ice age?)

Hi Chris, wonderful to see that moss on those boulders. Looks like a wonderful area to go trekking in.
Beautiful photograph, I feel like I am right in the scene.

Nice one Chris. I'd probably chose to crop a little off the bottom to concentrate the eye more on your subject matter.

Hi Chris,
great light here, love the mossy stones and the shape of the tree is dreamlike, good composition, well spotted :)

Wooow, this look like a fairy tale or adult/children story. ¿Was the "Lord of the Rings" here?
Seriously, the colors, the dramatic shape of the branches, makes this photo to be great.

The kind of shot I like, Chris... A subtle winter light and subtle contrasts for a subtle atmosphere. This must be an excellent hiking place. Oh yes: did I already mention the touch of (British?) humour in the title? Made me smile ;o).
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
