[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Quite spur of the moment, I was focusing on swans when these seagulls suddenly took off making a lot of noise. Image not "played with" as some might think, other than USM and compression for TL. As taken with my Nikon FM3a and Pancake lens.

Note: Reposted with some added saturation.

Interesting photo - the movement of the seagulls gives it energy, the colours a very other-worldly feel.

really surreal shot here, I like it. What's a pancake lens? Interesting moment you captured here, thanks for sharing.

Its just simply beautiful, somehow tranquill and at the same time lively. The splendid colors of the sky give that special 'gusto'. It has some autumn feeling in it ...

compliments!

Hi Jeff,
Very nice photo. I like the colours. This is the type that you can never plan, so this is special.

What a capture, very interesting. I really like the colors of this evening shot and the movement of the seagulls. Maybe you should reduce your settings in USM just a little bit. It makes some seagulls look like they are popping-out. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jeff; looking in your gallery I found this one; I like it because of the great movement of it; I didn't manage yet any substantial movement in picturing like this one. We see so often views like this, but never that near and what that backlight.
Great picture.
Thanks
Huub

Very surreal look. The saturation adds to the mood. TFS. K2
