We had just driven up through Glencoe in thick mist when suddenly we broke out into the sun. This is the view looking back.

Niiiiiceeee ... Beware of fogue. Funny looking creatures might crawl out of it, straight from XIXCentury.

Jokes aside, its a great capture. So many nice details, such as the road lines against the golden grass. Excellent.

As soon as I saw the thumb print I thought "Glencoe" Its been a few years since I have been there but your excellent shot bought back so many memories. Thanks for sharing!!!

Beautiful and kind of scary!

From tech side, shot could be sharper, but since it was taken from the car (and scanned, right?) it is very good.

Beautiful composition - excellent use of lines and colours, well done

I like the dramatic saturation that gives a golden border to the road. Beautiful picture.

Striking picture, Chris! The road surface is so black, makes the whole image a bitt surreal in contrast with the low cloud. The lack of sharpness doesn't bother me here, probably adds to the atmosphere. Excellent!

The shot is a bit blurred but that doesn't really matter since it is the fantastic effect we admire. How good of you to stop and capture this, but I still feel it could probably be enhanced even more.

Hi Chris,
great capture. very scottish, the mix of mist, mountain and braken. Very moody and a great title. Well done.

This picture really jumps out from the thumbnail. Like the unusal scene you have captured, good job there is a note to go with it.I like the colours and the composition the way the road draws you in. It is a bit soft though, but just about gets away with it.
I plan to visit Glen coe this year.
martin

fantastic view and shot!

We meet a special barrier here; great natural event; your picture brings very strong; a bit tto much saturation and contrast, but still very attractive Chris
Thanks

Beautiful picture of this beautiful place that is Glencoe, Chris. A very striking picture with the line of fog crossing the road with very interesting light in the foreground. As a number of people have mentioned, it has quite a surreal look. Well done & welcome to TL!

Perfection...nothing to discus everything is right in place in this photo.
