[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the 4th in my colouised car series (The first 3 are over on TrekEarth).

This is a Dodge Coronet with a 440Ci V8 taken at last years Newark Americana show. This show is a huge weekend long extravaganza of all things American. I can't say I go for all the flag waving and country music nonsense but the cars are of interest to me. Enjoy. If you like this kind of thing take a look at my photos on TrekEarth.

Awesome car, John! I really like the gold color against the b/w background - nice PP work. BTW, Dodge released a new concept car at the recent Auto Show in Detroit...a new Dodge Challenger, which looks very much like the old 1970 Challenger. This one is supposed to have a 400 CID V8 putting out 425 HP. It's to hit the streets in 2009.

Loved your note too, especially the "country music nonsense". I'm American and I don't go for the country music either - trust me, there's more to the music scene across the pond than Shania Twain and Alan Jackson.

Am headed to TE to see your other postings. BTW, check out my gallery here - I did some similar PP work on an old classic, and I've got some dirt track and drag racing photos sprinkled in the gallery as well.

Cheers,
- Bob
