[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this shot of a Marigold, trying to keep the lighting soft and the composition simple. With that in mind I shot from straight above the flower instead of the usual angles. I just liked the colours and the contrast of the background. Minimal P.P only used photoshop for framing.

its so central it is commanding...your note is quite in keeping with the presentation...top TL material..

Nice macro shot Andy, always good to see a plain black background. Just shows that you can get a good image without pp :-). Lovely subtle colours too. Nice one.

Andy,
I like this because of the symmetry, uniform soft lighting and overall composition. It is very effective. Did you add the black background p.p?
