[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As today is the start of my favourite time of year. I decided to upload another picture from my motorcycle racing files.

The Moto GP season started today, and also the British Superbike series. A day of sitting infront of the television.

This shot was taken at Paddock Hill Bend, Brands Hatch, the first corner on the track from the start / finish straight. This was taken at pre-season testing, where some of the BSB and Superstock teams were trying out there settings for the final week of testing, before the season starts. Paddock Hill is one of the most demanding corners on the UK race circuits for bikes, cars and also trucks! The G-force trying to push you body through the petrol filler when you reach the bottom of the hill, whilst trying to keep composed for Druids hairpin! The superbikes can do in excess of 130mph down this hill, and when I did my track day on my Aprilia RS125, it was scaring me doing 80 down hill!!!

Complete madness :o)

PP Work;

- Cropped the tyre wall, barrier and gate from the top of the shot, and some of the empty track from the bottom of the shot
- RGB Levels adjusted
- Unsharp mask of 50% added

I like this type of shot, I initially struggled to find the focal point but its on number 80 good sharp focus on his machine. You have captured them well, some motion blur on the background would set this off really nicely. Good use of cropping, you have removed most of the distractions from the intended topic of the shot.
Good capture.
