Dungeness Lighthouse
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I was doing a bit of comission work at Lydden Hill race circuit, when I decided to head down to the coast and Dungeness. A place I haven't visited for a few years, and still amazes me how isolated the place feels.
Dungeness lies at the southernmost point of Kent and is an enormous flat of sand and shingle which has been a hazard to shipping for hundreds of years. Dungeness Lighthouse marks the end of the peninsula and is also an important way mark and reference for vessels navigating the Dover Straits.
I couldn't resist this shot, with the moon just infront of the lighthouse :o)

good clean composition. personally, the moon for me does not add to the composition since it's so small and hardly noticeable.
Peace!
It's a good shot, the lighthouse draws your attention upwards towards the moon. Good Work.
