[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Swans at almost sunset on the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens were a beautiful, graceful sight on our first day in London. They were attracted by people feeding them and danced arabesques on the water.

I added the original photo as a WS just so you can see the pushing and shoving that was going on. These swans weren't very polite.

ISO 800, focal length 53.0 mm, cropped, cloned to remove distration, framed.

People often shoot swans!
I must say I've never seen such a crop!
Really great, and interesting!

Oh Lois, this is beautiful. The swans are so well positioned, you couldn't have placed them any better! Excellent composition, sharp details, and the colours are great. And the dribble from the lower swan is just great!
Well done, thank you,
Janice

What a great capture! It is like they are posing for you and you even caught one drinking water!! Fantastic images, colorful, great composition and clarity! TFS

HI LOIS!
This is a beautiful posting!
The gesture of the swans is fantastic and I do appreciate the colors so much!
Furthermore, I really enjoy the original cropping and POV!
Congratulations.
Luci

Hi Lois, what an elegant capture of these beautiful swans- the color and sharpness are superb as is the crop and framing- excellent job all around!

Best wishes,
Steve

A daring crop - which works very well. A group of four but they are all different and complement each other well.
The dribbling character in the f/g is a bonus!
Soft to me once more but what the heck.
Look forward to your return after an appropriate time.

belle composition.

Beautiful! The position of the heads is perfect. Excellent and original framing format. Good job!

Hello Lois!

I wlove the tight framing and composition here Lois! Very well done. Looking at your WS and original shot. I tried a little Ws myself. I hope you will like it.

Cheers!
Robert

Excellent composition, Lois. The swan with dripping water seems to be the only one that is real. The rest look frozen in time, almost like on the painting.

Well done despite harsh light conditions.
