Returning from the Eye to our hotel in Kensington via the tube instead of the bus, we came across this woman, so engrossed in reading her book that she did not seem to be conscious of anything around her. I was tempted to ask her what the book was, but her train came and she was gone.

Very interesting capture of a daily life scene, Lois. You are right she does seem very engrossed in her reading almost to the point of missing her train. Nice movement you have captured and I like the slight blur. Well done!

Hi Lois,

Interesting capture. I like the color combination on your photo. Well done.

God Bless,
Jomari

Wonderful image quality, Lois! Do you like your Pentax? My 35mm camera is a Pentax, and I loved it.

He's waiting patiently and gentlemanishly :), and as you said, she's totally engrossed in that book. It's a very comfortable scene, for some reason. Nothing false, no pretense, just nice, normal people.

Well done!
Gayle :)

Hi Lois, nice warm colours and a little hand shake ;)

Hi LOis...
Another beuatiful "Daily Life" photograph, my friend... Wonderful moment and shot, as usual... It's blurred but this blurriness fulfilled the composition... Wonderful point of view and shot too...
TFS...
Stay well..
Salim.

Hi Lois- I like the 'Tube" shot- watching people waiting for the train- the lady reading- obviously, a local very comfortable with the process and timing, the elderly gentleman, very proper and patiently waiting with hands folded behind his back.Nice shot- TFS Lois!

Best wishes,
Steve

Such a soft image at ISO 800! The scene is like a modern contemplating moment.
Magic and reality in one.
Good work Lois.
I like your gallery; didn't notice you until your visit today to my yesterdays 'cross'.
I will follow your doings.
Thanks
Huub
