This shot was an experiment for slow shutter speed, panning technique and good luck.
Most of the motorsport images, I'm shooting between 1/320 & 1/640 for side on shots and 1/800 and 1/1000 for head on shots. I was at Snetterton for the BSB meeting and decided to have a play with the settings, seeing how slow I can get the shutter speed and how good my panning technique is. Down to 1/60 the picture was fine, not as sharp in the details as 1/320 and above, but still I feel this picture has come out very well.

Very good colour, sharpness and colour.
I tried the same at the same event yesterday but did not have a lot of luck. Thanks for sharing (think I'll keep my photos hidden - except the one posted yesterday).

Very useful note. This is a great job of panning. Very clear and sharp. Well done.
Very nice panning technique. The wheels look great in this shot, really show off the speed. TFS
Very good capture of the sport
