Nice, Dean. The flower is wonderful, and I like the way you've included the leaves. The background is colorful and simple, and I think I like the strong color of the background. My only nit is that I can't tell if the sunflower is weak in details or if your focus is soft. It might be worth trying an unsharpen mask to see if there are more details to bring out. Because being able to see a bit more details will give it a bit more snap or punch.

Wow, great primary colours! Simple composition but effective. Could perhaps me a little sharper though.
