[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken down at Hightown near Liverpool looking towards the lower Welsh mountains. I seem to have captured a few photographers at work here (Is it you?)
The almost B&W result here was a real surprise for me as I had not planned for a shot like this at all. I'm quite sure the camera was set to auto here as opposed to manual but I can't really remember for certain. I hope you like the result though! I would have posted this shot earlier but must have overlooked it.

Very nice shot John. Great light...

I love these 'unexpected' results, I'm a great fan of silhouette, it wasn't me, lovely, thanx, M, (*_*)

Very nicely done, John, and nice "unexpected" results. Very nicely composed even if maybe a bit centered with the photographers but there is a nice group of silhouettes in the middle and it seems to work. Well done!

Sorry, my bag is empty!

This shot is really special! Very interesting "metallic" color effect! Very special composition as well with those silhouettes on two different planes! I like it! This is different and creative! Bravo! Michel

Hey Johnny boy, Oh (O) this is nice. Silver tones and Silver tuned! We call this Silhouette Art* Weldone Johnny!

I just love the effect you captured John, what a wonderful surprise when you saw it. It you 'wanted' to capture such a light, it would probably be impossible to set up....so how nice that it was given to you. I love the silver effect you have here. I tried when we were in the Charlevoix region of Quebec to capture sunlight on the water with it's sparkle but it wasn't anything as good as this. Normally we see silhouettes against a red sunset, but this is so unuusal. It's hard to believe it is a colour shot. Well done
Super shot.
Cheers Joan.

Great John. What a nice silver reflection! T C

Very beautiful shot John. Great light!
Regards,
Deniz.

Well seen and taken. I like the way it is almost mono effect that nature has delivered to your camera here.

Delightful surprise John. I have had similar experiences but mine have been forced in a way by deliberately aiming towards a brighter patch of water. Lovely effect and good silhouettes, not me either unfortunately. TFS,
Dave

Just come across this picture John and I love the light on the water and the composition of the figures. I take a lot of pictures on Auto, with the camera pointed towards the sun.
I have done a workshop to show you another view, I hope that you don't mind.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.
