Well, this makes me homesick!

Superbly done, catching the golfer at the perfect moment on his backswing. There's almost a tricolour effect with the sea, golf course and sky - and the light falling on the golfers is a gem.

Great snap(s), Douglas. This is postcard-perfect, actually has that look of one of the older postcards they used to make in brilliant color (like on foil). Great PP. Now for the golf, they should have put the green on that little hill to the right, that'd make 'em think! :)

I still like the photo but it comes close to artificial
I say this because of a well known filters set mystic light can do this trick

That's an outstanding picture Douglas!
I find here a beautiful nature, together with an amazing lighting effect (the sunbeams throught the clouds) and a sport scene. It is quite original indeed, the scene is so far but perfectly clear, and the pose it is really "esthetic".

The shot looks painting-like, and the effect of your post processing is very dramatic indeed (though I have absolutely no idea what you were talking about LOL! ). From what you were saying, i take it the processing was done to express what you saw (perhaps felt) the moment you saw the shot?

i wonder how the shot would've appeared if the post wasn't so heavy... however, that said, the picture in itself is WONDERFUL! my first comment simply said, "AMEN," but it seems there's a minimum of 10 characters to comment. haha!
